Elizabeth Van Sant Hoffman is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management and Clinical Design and Delivery at Eli Lilly. In this role, she oversees portfolio and project management, clinical development, R&D strategy, decision sciences, and clinical design and capabilities.

Throughout her career at Eli Lilly, Elizabeth has held various leadership roles across global regulatory affairs, medicines quality, and clinical development. She has led the transformation of global regulatory affairs operations and provided leadership in the design and implementation of Good Clinical Practice inspections. Elizabeth also played a key role in accelerating the donanemab clinical development program, including the initiation of one of the first fully decentralized trials outside of COVID.  

She earned both her Doctor of Pharmacy and bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
