Historically, open-source software has been of limited interest in the pharmaceutical industry as GxP requirements impose many limitations on statistical programming, processes, and systems. Recently, progress has been made in creating best practices and frameworks on in-sourcing open-source software in such a way that GxP requirements can be met. With this changed approach, new challenges have surfaced that we need to consider and address.
This event intends to discuss and share thoughts, plans, and experiences with exploring and using open-source software.
